Hearkening back to far-off lands, the adventures of Gilligan's Island, Robinson Crusoe, and Mark Twain. But most of all my childhood swimming in Lake Michigan, which is where this moment was captured. c. 1970s.
Coined the "un-cola", 7-up was my go to after school drink of choice, washing down a snack mix of Cool Ranch Doritos dipped in sour cream and for desert, Oreo Cookies and 2% milk.
After the deep gaze, I noted this man was standing in a camera store, an unspoken relationship of the man behind the counter and the man behind the lens.
